In that general context, press workers seem to have no time to think about their joys during their day, always focusing their minds and emotions on the hot front of the country. Many reporters and editors have been on duty every day and every hour to receive information from localities and COVID-19 outbreak hotspots to report the situation promptly and accurately. The important role of journalists has been constantly affirmed during the important moments of the nation.

Amidst the complicated of COVID-19 epidemic, people's information needs have also increased. Therefore, the professional activities of reporters and press agencies have been growing increasingly more important. Their prompt and accurate information will significantly contribute to helping people thoroughly grasp the actual situation of epidemic prevention and control as well understanding and sharing with the Party, State and authorities at all levels in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Readers across the country have been very familiar with the image of journalists working in quarantine areas, treatment areas for COVID-19 patients, places with a very high risk of infection. They have always expressed their passion for the profession and spirit of throwing themselves into danger spots, towards the purpose of bringing the most authentic and reliable information to readers.

To do that, each journalist should continue to further promote their high responsibility to the society and community. This is one of the most important factors in making a successful writer. During the recent COVID-19 outbreaks, press workers’ social responsibilities has been demonstrated more deeply than ever. Although he following epidemic was more severe and caused more difficulties than the previous one, their passion, responsibility and enthusiasm have not diminished. On the contrary, they have entered the fight against the epidemic with a new spirit, a new determination with the foundation of noble social responsibility.

Press agencies have continued to regularly provide information on the evolution of the epidemic, especially "hot spots", "outbreaks" and risks of community transmission, serving as an important basis for readers to make effective prevention strategies. More importantly, reporters have deeply informed the policies, decisions and drastic actions of the Party, Government and the whole political system during this important fight. Accordingly, people have always timely grasped information and believed in the guidelines and policies of the Party and State amidst the difficult and hot times in the country. Press agencies and journalists around the country have calmed down and aced the fourth "wave" of the epidemic to provide information on epidemic prevention and control while emphasising and highlighting the other important mission of socio-economic restoration and development.

The social responsibility of journalists has been increasingly strengthened and deeply affirmed in the midst of the difficulties caused by the pandemic. That responsibility has been expressed in honesty and humanity for the common sake of the community and nation. This is a factor that needs to be respected and promoted, especially in the context that information technology and social networks are developing strongly and having multifaceted impacts on press activities.

In order to preserving and upholding their social responsibility, journalists should constantly promote their role as citizens as well as receive, edit and appraise the information certainty and accurately. This is an important basis for conveying information to the public on the responsibility of society, the country and readers. In addition, every journalist and press agency needs to fiercely oppose and fight against false and distorted information as well as focus on humanity and pay attention to the positive in the process of reflecting the reality of life, thereby orienting people towards good things. The persistent efforts during the reflection on the media of press agencies are an important operational process that orients public opinion towards the values of truth - goodness - beauty. That is also the sacred and noble task of journalists during the journey of developing an increasingly modern and humane Vietnamese revolutionary press for progressive and noble goals.
