The results are attributed to the province’s great efforts and specific policy towards realising the national target programme on sustainable poverty reduction.
Speaking at the conference, Politburo member Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, applauded the outcomes achieved by Bac Ninh Province in poverty reduction.
He called for more synchronous solutions and initiatives to ensure that the escape from poverty in the province is sustained.
At the event, the provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched a housing campaign for disadvantaged people in the locality. The campaign aims to build new houses for 760 families by 2025, including policy beneficiaries and relatives of fallen soldiers
In response to the campaign, local organisations, businesses, and benefactors donated more than 4.5 billion VND to the organisers at the ceremony.
