So far, the festival has attracted 390 pavilions divided into different areas, including one for sponsors, another for display of agricultural equipment and machines, exhibition space for enterprises from the districts and towns of Vinh Long province, an area for local young entrepreneurs and a place for trade promotion activities of the provinces.

A wide variety of seminars on the development of Vietnamese rice, as well as measures to promote Vietnamese rice to the world, will be held during the festival.

Vietnam Rice Festival will be an opportunity for enterprises to introduce their products, grasp the customers’ needs to improve their products’ quality, and seek more partners.

In addition, the event is expected to support the businesses in improving their competitiveness, in both domestic and foreign markets, as well as seek solutions in forming supply chains.

The festival also aims to promote the development of high-quality rice, while improving the value chain in rice production towards organic rice, contributing to ensuring food safety and adaptation to climate change in the Mekong River Delta region.

The Vietnam Rice Festival is jointly held by Vietnam Farmers' Union, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Vinh Long provincial People’s Committee.
