Vietnam’s exports to Cambodia rise 5.01%

Nhan Dan – Vietnam’s export revenue to Cambodia reached US$2.68 billion in the first eleven months of 2013, up 5.01% year on year, according to the Vietnam Industry and Trade Information Centre (VITIC).

Revenue from petrol products were the highest-grossing exports to Cambodia, accounting for 20.2% of the total, said VITIC in its latest report.

Steel products came second with 14.6% of total export revenue to the Cambodian market.

During this period, most exports to Cambodia saw strong increases with apparel, rubber and machinery rising by 39.65%, 30.1% and 39.03%, respectively.

Notably, timber and timber products surged by 222% over the same period last year.
