The event featured the participation of over 400 domestic and foreign businesses, investors, scientists and economists.

According to speakers, logistics is one of the fastest growing economic sectors in Vietnam with an annual growth of 16-20%.

They also added that the underdevelopment of logistics is one of the reasons for the high price and low competitiveness of agricultural products. Therefore, the agriculture value chain must always have an organic relationship with logistics’ development.

At the event, speakers shared experience, information and new approaches to trends in agricultural development of developed countries in the world, as well as proposed strategic solutions for Hau Giang to develop an agriculture value chain based on logistics.

The Green Economic Forum was considered a good start for follow-up cooperation, investment and business activities among enterprises and localities in Hau Giang province.
