International trade, tourism and investment fair features 350 pavilions

More than 350 pavilions are on display at the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC)’s Investment, Trade and Tourism Fair, which officially kicked off in the central city of Da Nang on November 18.

The event featured the participation of 270 enterprises, embassies and trade promotion organisations from Vietnamese provinces and cities and abroad, including Japan, Bulgaria, Italy, South Africa, China, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Laos and Indonesia.

The fair introduces a wide range of products of various industries such as electricity, wooden furniture, interior decoration, tourism services, processing, packaging, textiles, fashion, leather shoes, pharmaceuticals and chemical cosmetics.

Also on display are many goods from the One Commune – One Product programme and high-tech products from various localities such as Da Nang, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc, Kien Giang, Long An and Lam Dong.

Within the framework of the EWEC Investment, Trade and Tourism Fair, a conference on supply-demand connection will be held with the participation of representatives from 110 enterprises from 21 provinces and cities around the country.

During the six-day fair, a wide variety of other activities will support agencies and enterprises to learn more about the trade promotion policies and mechanisms as well as to bring the products closer to visitors.

The EWEC Investment, Trade and Tourism Fair will last until November 23.
