The two sides will promote cooperation in investing in digital transformation, applying the most modern organic agricultural technology to improve the productivity and production ofclean products, establish the quality standards of Europe, and promote the utilisation and export of agricultural products in the immediate future of Vietnamese fruit.
The planned investment will total around EUR10 million to EUR 15 million within five years.
The project consists of three main components: Building a system of standards - a system of quality management laboratories for the entire process according to the highest standards of Europe, applied in Vietnam; Technology transfer- consulting, support, and participation in deploying smart agricultural applications (Smart Agri) in agricultural and fruit production; and Building a digital portal - a digital business intelligence platform providing research information, synchronously connecting all stages in the entire process of product production and consumption of agriculture and fruit (supply chain).
