At the event, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh briefed attendees on Vietnam’s investment policies and outlined the country’s strengths and potential in producing, processing and exporting agricultural and fishery products.

He went on to say that businesses from both countries can benefit from closer co-ordination and partnership on trade.

He said the Algerian Government is laying the groundwork for sustainable industry, working to reduce its economic dependence on oil and rethinking its export policies to expand into new and promising markets.

During their stay, Deputy Minister Anh and his delegation held working sessions with the Algerian Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Industry and Investment Promotion and Commerce.
