The project, which was granted with an investment registration certificate by the park’s management board on February 5, 2021, is the seventh one in the park to receive investment from Japanese businesses so far.
The centre will house research and development projects of robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), hydrogen energy devices, nanodevices, artificial intelligence, water purification systems, wireless power transmission system, and new material technology.
It will also cover project on information technology, medical equipment, production of unmanned equipment, and robots for commercial purposes.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Tran Phuoc Son said that Da Nang is prioritising investment projects with advanced technologies, particularly those with investment from Japanese businesses, which are expected to boost the city’s rapid and sustainable development.
He asked the Da Nang High-Tech Park’s management board and functional authorities and sectors to create favourable conditions for the project’s implementation such that it can be completed by the end of 2023.
