Vietnamese startups seeks opportunities at AsiaBerlin Submit 2021

Four Vietnamese startups in the fields of electric vehicles, energy efficiency, smart agriculture and circular economy will introduce their innovative solutions at the AsiaBerlin Submit 2021.

In the framework of the summit, the “Green Tech Made in Vietnam” event themed “Connecting Berlin and Vietnam – Finding opportunities” is set to take place on October 8.

It will be jointly held by the Vietnam National Innovation Centre (NIC) at the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam, the Digital Transformation Centre Vietnam of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and an agency for economics, energy and entrepreneurs of Germany.

According to a GIZ representative, the event will promote startups with green technology which helps Vietnam adapt to and mitigate impacts of climate change and preserve natural resources.

WiiBike electric bicycle manufacturer, whose vision is to develop zero-emissions vehicles in Vietnam’s hubs by 2030, will be the first one to deliver its presentation, followed by energy efficiency in Internet of Things (IoT) solution provider IoTeamVN.

The next presentation will be by Plastic People specialising in turning plastic waste into useful products; and Hachi which applies IoT in smart farming.

The AsiaBerlin Summit 2021 will take place in a hybrid format with a huge number of online and offline attendees from October 4-10.

Entrepreneurs and the investor community from Asia and Berlin, Germany will join forces to talk about the internationalisation of startups across sectors such as UrbanTech, HealthTech, FinTech, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, and Blockchain.
