Changes to fuel prices are currently decided every 15 days.

If the periodic adjustment date falls on a public holiday, changes will be made on the following working day.

The decree stipulates that in case where fuel price hikes can severely affect socio-economic development and the people’s lives, the Ministry of Industry and Trade should report to the Prime Minister to ask for a delay.

The decree also allows the use of small-sized filling devices if they can meet the requirements on measurement and safety, especially in remote areas.
