Enterprises in Binh Duong industrial zones contribute 282 million USD to budget

Enterprises operating in industrial zones in the southern province of Binh Duong contributed about 282 million USD to the state budget in the first six months of 2022, up 23.34% over the same period last year.

The foreign direct investment (FDI) sector contributed 87% to the budget at 246 million USD, up 24.26% over the same period last year, while the domestic sector contributed 36 million USD to the budget, up 17.45% over the corresponding period last year.

According to the Binh Duong Industrial Parks Management Board, the production and business activities of enterprises in local industrial parks have been maintained stably with many positive results in the first half of 2022. Enterprises in industrial zones reported total revenues of 21.3 billion USD in six months, up 26.35%over the same period last year and a total export turnover of 14.2 billion USD, up 27.26%.

Thanks to the complete and modern infrastructure, in addition to convenient regional traffic, industrial parks in Binh Duong are boasting its investment efficiency. Industrial parks in Binh Duong attracted 2.3 billion USD in FDI over the first half of this year, reaching 192% of the yearly plan and 9.93 trillion VND (426.72 million USD) of domestic investment, reaching 903% of the year’s plan.

Binh Duong currently has 3,000 valid projects, including 2,347 FDI projects with total registered capital of 28 billion USD. Enterprises in Binh Duong industrial zones have created stable jobs for nearly 500,000 workers.
