January State budget revenues reach US$3.36 million

Nhan Dan Online/VNA – State budget revenue in January was estimated at VND71.7 trillion (US$3.36 million), according to the Ministry of Finance.

The sum accounts for 9.2 percent of the estimate for the whole year.

Of the amount, VND53.3 trillion came from domestic taxes, reported Ha Noi Moi newspaper, citing data from the ministry.

High budget collection was seen in the State-owned economic sector with a 12.9 percent rise and the private industry and trade sector also lifted 9.3 percent.

The increase was attributed to bustling production and trade in the last months of 2013 and the first month of 2014.

The ministry also revealed that state budget spending in January was estimated at 8.1 percent of the forecast, ensuring socio-economic development, national defence, security and State management.
