Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Luong Thanh said the province’s many potentials and strengths, combined with supportive policy frameworks and a positive business environment, made Bac Ninh one of the most attractive investment destinations for large global companies, including enterprises from the RoK.

During the first nine months of this year, the province granted new investment licences to 111 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total capital of over US$1.3 billion. These projects include 82 run by RoK investors with combined capital reaching US$1.25 billion.

Bac Ninh is currently home to 220 RoK businesses with a total investment capital of US$4.5 billion. The companies have contributed greatly to industrial production, generating thousands of jobs and boosting overall socio-economic development in the province.

The delegation highly appreciated the province’s business environment and affirmed that the trip had helped them gain a deeper understanding of the local investment climate, while contributing to boosting investments between the RoK and the province.

After the working session, the delegation visited Bac Ninh Reftech Ltd. Co. and the VSIP-Tu Son industrial park.
