The fair is organised by the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development aiming to spotlight high quality agricultural products and typical products of Hanoi's craft villages.
The annual event intends to introduce agricultural models and programmes that apply advanced technology in production and bring about high-quality products as well as honour values of traditional craft villages and craft products.
It is also expected to recommend safe consumer products labelled with certification from the agricultural sector.
The fair displays various types of high tech agricultural products, veterinary medicine, plant protection products, agricultural materials and fertilisers, bio-products and equipment for agricultural production and processing. Distinguished products and achievements of craft villages in Hanoi are also exhibited at the fair.
Other activities such as trade promotion programmes and seminars will also be held during the fair which runs until October 27.
