The suspension bridge is 113m high featuring a dragon design. As a gate to the city’s centre, the bridge will give a facelift to the area over Sai Gon River including an artistic light system that will be visible during the day and at night.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Transportation Dinh La Thanh spoke highly of the city’s initiative in mobilising various capital resources for transportation infrastructure development, contributing to improving transportation in Ho Chi Minh City and the south-east region.

He stressed the importance of the project for the transportation infrastructure of the city and the country, and assigned the city’s authorities to create favourable conditions for conducting site clearance and ensuring traffic safety during the project’s implementation.
