It was followed by large corporations including the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (VINACOMIN Power Corporation), Vung Ang Petroleum JSC and Long Son Co Ltd.
According to Vietnam Report, the compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of the ten leading firms in the FAST500 was 102.18%. More than 75% of enterprises in the survey said that they would expand their business activities to increase turnover and their presence in the market, while 19.2% said they would continue operations as in 2014.
In addition to the list of the 500 fastest-growing firms, Vietnam Report also published a list of 500 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the fastest growth rates in Vietnam.
Son Trang Construction JSC ranked first in the list while Kien Khe Quarry Material Co Ltd came in second and Noi Thuong Bac Transportation Car Co Ltd came in third.
The CAGR of the ten leading SMEs was 82.29%.
2015 is the fifth consecutive year FAST500 was announced, marking the maturity of Vietnamese businesses amid the economic fluctuations at home and abroad.
