It will now move to exterior painting to include VNA’s new design and logo as part of its plan to renovate its brand identity, which will be unveiled when the Dreamliner is delivered.

VNA will be the first carrier to use the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on the direct route from Southeast Asia to Europe, with London’s Heathrow Airport as the first international destination.

The 787-9 Dreamliner is the latest version of Boeing’s 787 airliner, which can make longer flights, and seat more passengers and cargo than the 787-8 while reducing fuel use and fumes by 20% compared with the Boeing 777.

The airliner also features modern equipment to make passengers feel more comfortable during long-haul flights.

In addition to the Boeing 787-9, VNA will start receiving Airbus’s wide-body A350-900 under a plan to replace its current fleet with fuel-saving new generation aircrafts as it seeks to become a four-star airline in 2015, and one of the top carriers in Southeast Asia in 2020.
