Cai Lan port has mobilised manpower and equipment to urgently unload cargo from the freighters in the shortest period of time possible.

During January 2016, Cai Lan International Container Terminal has welcomed 132 ships and handled nearly 524,500 tonnes of cargo including mineral ores, cattle feed, fertiliser and wood chips.

Earlier on February 10, the Pelicana from Singapore also docked at Cai Lan port to unload 5,500 tonnes of mineral ores.
