Speaking at the workshop, VINASME Vice President and Secretary-General To Hoai Nam briefed attendees on SMEs in Vietnam. The enterprises offered employment opportunities for close to 10 million full-time and about 2 million seasonal workers, Nam added.

The vice president also responded to inquiries from Czech participants about Vietnam’s policy on foreign investment attraction, prioritised industries, transparency in procedures for the grant of investment license and financial capability of local SMEs.

Attending Czech firms showed their interest in Vietnam’s market, particularly opportunities for exports.

On the occasion, Nam inked deals with vice president of the Czech association for SMEs Jiri Bellinger, president of the Czech-Vietnam association for industry and trade Vaclav Aubrecht, Director of marketing agency Finley Ondrej Nadvornik.
