According to Bui Duy Quang, Deputy Director in charge of Information - Communications and Tourism Promotion of the HPA, the event features 250 pavilions from nearly 200 enterprises and units from 55 provinces and cities around the country.

The participants introduce regional specialties in different kinds, including many products protected by geographical indication registrations.

The fair was designed to feature the images of all regions in the country, including the northwest, northeast, the Red River Delta, the north central, south central, southeast, southwest and the Central Highlands.

A wide variety of attractive activities will also be held during the fair, including programmes connecting enterprises, introduction to the culinary arts of the regions and arts performances.

Since 2014, the annual event has become a bridge connecting domestic production and business units in the fields of agricultural products and food with importers, distribution systems, trade centres, supermarkets and consumers.
