The event is jointly held by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture (VTPCA) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Long An provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The fair features more than 200 booths of enterprises operating in the agricultural sector from provinces and cities nationwide, displaying and introducing hi-tech agricultural products; models with advanced scientific and technical application; varieties of plants, animals, agro-forestry-fishery products; machinery and equipment for agricultural production and other handicraft products.
Director of the VTPCA said the event is an opportunity for participating enterprises to promote trade and partnerships, introduce their products and get updates on advanced technologies.
The fair also provides a good opportunity for farmers and cooperatives to connect with investors and distributors from across the country, as well as form product chains in the direction of enhancing added value and sustainable development.
The fair will run until November 29.
