The annual event was held by the Diplomatic Spouses’ Association (DSA) in the Czech Republic in order to raise funds for charity activities in the host country.

Visitors to the fair had the opportunity to enjoy and buy numerous unique products, including small souvenirs, clothes, fabrics, fashion accessories, jewellery and handicrafts, as well as traditional food and drink from the participating countries.

With three pavilions, Vietnam introduced silk fabrics, handicrafts and traditional food and drink from all regions around the country.

Speaking at the fair, Head of the DSA Spouse of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Myung-Ji Suh affirmed that the fair has become a prestigious event in the Czech Republic, enhancing the connection of different cultures, as well as strengthening the friendship among the countries.

Over the past 20 years, DSA has mobilised around US$3 million for charitable projects in the Czech Republic.

Also at the fair, First Lady of the Czech Republic Ivana Zemanova appreciated the organisation of the annual fair, as well as the activities of the DSA over the past few years.

The Vietnamese Embassy and expatriates in the Czech Republic have actively participated in the International Christmas Fair, significantly contributing to the success of the "charitable diplomacy" activities from the foreign embassies in Prague.
