Vietnam Expo 2018 to enhance global economic links

The 28th Vietnam International Trade Fair – Vietnam Expo 2018, on the theme ‘Enhancing Regional and Global Economic Links’, will be held in Hanoi from April 11-14.

So far, the event has attracted 450 enterprises from 16 provinces and cities across the country and 23 other countries and territories around the world, such as Russia, the Republic of Korea (RoK), China, Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Cuba, Laos, and Cambodia.

On display will be various products of different commodities, including machinery and equipment, construction and building materials, electricity, electronics, information and technology, materials, food and beverages, agricultural products, appliances, health care products and services.

One highlight at VIETNAM EXPO 2018 is the participation of enterprises whose brands have been awarded Vietnam Value, including Hanoi Trade Corporation, Tran Phu Electrical Mechanical Joint Stock Company (JSC), Binh Minh Plastics JSC, Duy Tan Plastics JSC, Tan A Dai Thanh Group, and Hanoi Beer Trading JSC (Habeco).

Russia will take part in this year’s event as a guest of honour, which is expected to bring greater opportunities for effective trade promotion between the two countries.

With a display area of 520 square metres, Russian enterprises will showcase products of their major and prominent industries such as mechanical processing, precision mechanics, automation equipment, industrial biotechnology, and high-tech electronics.

The 27th Vietnam Expo attracted 505 enterprises with 602 booths from 23 countries and territories.
