The signing of the agreements took place at the 2018 Vietnam – RoK ICT Cooperation Forum that was held in Hanoi, on March 22.
The signed agreements include a cooperation agreement on the roll-out of the M090 application between MobiFone and Tripath; another on wireless and wire-line consolidation services between Supernet Company (RoK) and Newtaco Company (Vietnam); an agreement on digital conversion solutions between JC1 Company and FSI Vietnam Company; and the last between MobiFone Global and Samsung Eletronics Limited Company on technical and trade activities related to 4G and 5G technology in Vietnam.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong emphasised that the RoK has become one of the top strategic partners of Vietnam and Vietnam is also a leading strategic partner of the RoK in Southeast Asia.
Their cooperation in the field of ICT has been enhanced and expanded by the Governments and enterprises of both countries, he added.
The Deputy Minister also noted that the two sides have closely cooperated in training human resources, exchanging experts, building policies and developing new technologies.
