The event aims to create a bridge for businesses to find opportunities for cooperation and investment and connect with senior members of one of the largest organisations representing the business community in the region.

On the occasion, CACCI President Jemal Inaishvili led a delegation of more than 30 leaders of large corporations from member countries on a visit to Vietnam. They operate in the fields of textiles, garments, cosmetics, consumer goods, distribution and processing, food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, industrial products distribution, construction, IT, and tourism, hailing from Australia, India, Nepal, and Taiwan (China), among others.

In his speech, VCCI Vice President Doan Duy Khuong highly valued the importance of cooperation between VCCI and CACCI, and emphasised the connection between Vietnamese enterprises and others in the region, especially in the context of the current drive for international economic integration.

He also highlighted the huge potential of the Asia-Pacific region especially since the signing of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), which opened up many opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to promote trade activities, access to advanced production technology, and improve their management skills.

For his part, CACCI President Jemal Inaishvili acknowledged the achievements of the Vietnamese business community in economic development over the past years, adding that the growth of the business community in Vietnam has demonstrated the Government's efforts to create favourable conditions for business development.

He also expressed his wish to invite the VCCI and the Vietnamese business delegation to join the CACCI Summit in Istanbul, Turkey later this year.
