This year's fair sees the participation of 140 enterprises and the display of 350 pavilions of Vietnamese goods featuring famous brands such as Sai Gon Co.op, Satra, Vinamilk, Vissan, Duy Tan, Dien Quang, Minh Long, Garment 10, Maseco, and others.

The fair has a dedicated space for participating enterprises to introduce their products and for customers to try new products. Trade promotion activities and activities to assist firms in seeking markets and business opportunities are also being held during the event.

At the opening ceremony, the Organising Board announced the top "30 typical products of Ho Chi Minh City", which are produced by 14 Vietnamese firms, in recognition of the innovation and improvement of Vietnamese businesses.

HUBA President Chu Tien Dung said that the trade fair is held annually in Ho Chi Minh City in response to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods" and it has become a venue to connect enterprises and consumers in the city and Southern provinces.

Dung noted that the fair is also an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to promote their products and boost the consumption of new products, in addition to introducing new technological developments and expanding markets.

The fair will last until May 1.
