This year’s exhibition covers an area of over 10,000 square metres, with 450 pavilions introducing new products and services in the automobile, motorbike and supporting industry in Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said the Vietnamese economy is witnessing positive growth, creating favourable conditions for the development of the automobile market.

In particular, the Government has devised the policy of building the automobile industry into an important industry, in order to meet domestic market demand, as well as developing the supporting industry, he noted.

Along with the Vietnamese products by the Vietnam Engine and Agriculture Machinery Corporation, the exhibition will highlight Russian and Chinese brands, such as Gaz Group, Faw Group, HongYan Truck and KC Motors, alongside global brands such as Ducati, Harley Davidson, Triumph, Royal Enfield and Kawasaki.

Visitors can also experience driving the latest models from Ducati, Harley Davidson, Triumph and Royal Enfield.

As part of the exhibition, a thematic conference will also be held to discuss the development of the support industry and the connection of demand and supply sources for the production and assembly of commercial and special-use automobiles in Vietnam.

The exhibition is scheduled to run until June 9.
