Speeches delivered at the forum also focused on the climate change situation that many provinces in the region are experiencing such as drought and disease caused by heavy rain.

A number of directions and measures to develop sustainable livestock and adaptation to climate change were also pointed out, focusing on region-based animal husbandry planning; specialised rice, cassava and corn production areas for animal feed; as well as the selection and preservation of the source of precious breeds in adaption to natural conditions.

From practical experience, Quang Nam and Binh Dinh provinces also introduced and shared models of high economic livestock production.
