Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Real Estate Association, Nguyen Tran Nam, who is also head of the Organising Board, said that the Vietbuild Can Tho 2018 provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs, architects, construction contractors, real estate trading floors and homebuyers.
On display are a range of products such as building materials, home decor, paint, solar energy, water treatment machines, and green materials for buildings in the Mekong Delta.
This year’s event features over 600 booths from more than 200 companies operating in the fields of construction and interior and exterior design. Among the participants are 178 domestic businesses and 29 joint ventures and foreign groups from the US, Germany, the UK, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and China.
On the fringes of the exhibition, a workshop on environmental protection in cement production and a business forum will also be organised.
The event will run until August 6.
