During the event, Thai companies and business associations will directly meet Vietnamese importers in order to seek partners and business opportunities.

Stalls by over 130 Thai companies and Vietnamese agents of Thai products are showcasing food and beverages, household appliances, apparel and accessories, household electrical appliances, health care products, and several other services.

Co-hosted by the Thai Ministry of Commerce’s Department of International Trade Promotion, the Trade Office of the Embassy of Thailand in Hanoi and Vinexad, the exhibition will run until August 19.

In 2017, two-way trade hit US$15 billion, an annual increase of 20%. Particularly, Thailand is Vietnam’s largest trade partner in ASEAN and the 10th leading investor in the country.

Vietnam and Thailand have worked closely with the other ASEAN members to build the ASEAN Economic Community. In addition, the two countries’ stronger participation in regional and international economy offers various opportunities to promote trade cooperation and investment.
