Vinaconex receives Labour Order on its 30th founding anniversary

The Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex) held a ceremony in Hanoi on September 29 to celebrate its 30th founding anniversary (1988-2018) and receive a Labour Order, third class.

The event was attended by Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister, Vuong Dinh Hue; Party Central Committee member and Minister of Construction, Tran Hong Ha; among other leaders of the Party, State, and ministries.

Addressing the event, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha spoke highly of the efforts made by Vinaconex’s staff in maintaining its top position in Vietnam’s construction and property development.

He also applauded Vinaconex’s contributions to the modernisation and industrialisation of the country, expressing his hope that the corporation will further develop and enhance its competitiveness in order to deeply engage in the international integration process.

Throughout its 30 years of development, Vinaconex has built up a charter capital of VND4.4 trillion (U$190 million) and total assets of more than VND9.7 trillion (U$421.2 million).

In 2017, the corporation made VND1.6 trillion (US$ 70 million) in after-tax profit, putting it among the country’s 30 most profitable enterprises.
