The government official, who is also head of the Steering Committee for Renewal and Development of Collective Economy, made the request at the committee's meeting on November 6 to put forth a plan to review the 15-year implementation of the Party Resolution No.13 on improving the efficiency of the collective economy.

Representatives from ministries and sectors agreed that after 15 years implementing the Resolution, the public awareness of the role of the collective economy to national development has been raised with the establishment of many new and profitable collective models.

In the past few years, many localities have also promulgated provincial and municipal resolutions to materialise Resolution No.13 and they should calculate their performance to contribute to the final review.

Deputy PM Hue noted that the review of the 15-year performance of the collective economy must clarify issues related to institution, State policy, and the role of State management, while finding solutions and creating new impetus to fuel the collective economy in the future.

The review report will serve as a basis for the amendments and supplements to the Cooperative Law in 2022, the government official said.
