Since its establishment in November 13, 1993, with an initial chartered capital of VND400 million, SHB has developed a sustainable financial foundation with the chartered capital increasing to over VND12 trillion - up more than 30,000 times against the initial figure.

With active contribution to the national development, the SHB brand has been recognised with multiple domestic and international awards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Dao Minh Tu, praised SHB’s contribution to the development of the banking sector and socio-economic development in Vietnam.

He suggested the bank pay attention to promoting its strength in operating in rural areas, while simplifying transaction procedures and developing modern products and services, as well as facilitating the restructuring plan for the 2016-2020 period.
