300 businesses attend Vietbuild International Exhibition in Da Nang

More than 1,000 pavilions by 300 businesses at home and abroad are being set up at the Vietbuild International Exhibition, which opened in the central city of Da Nang on May 15.

The businesses include 189 Vietnamese firms, 72 joint ventures, and 54 foreign businesses from 12 countries and territories around the world, such as the US, Germany, China, the Republic of Korea, and Japan.

They have brought to the event their latest products in various fields, including new construction materials, solar energy technology, furniture, ‘green’ technology, sustainable solutions and real estate.

A seminar on new material and interior design will be held under the framework of the event to discuss solutions for housing construction towards environmental protection and sustainable development.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh said that the exhibition aimed to offer an opportunity for Vietnamese firms to expand cooperation and technology transfer with their international partners, thus contributing to the country’s industrialisation and modernisation.

The exhibition will run until May 19 at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Strict, Cam Le District, Da Nang city.
