Dong Tam Group celebrates 50th anniversary of its trademark

Dong Tam Group held a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on June 22 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its trademark, a leader in construction material and the interior decoration sector, (June 25).

The event was attended by former President Truong Tan Sang; and Politburo members: Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Head of the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Truong Thi Mai; and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Education and Communication Vo Van Thuong.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh said that over the past 50 years, Dong Tam has become a large private economic group with strong potential and competitiveness within the country and both the region and world.

From the initial production of traditional cement tile, Dong Tam Group has constantly innovated and expanded its production scale and business lines, with many business facilities in the domestic and international markets, he added.

With the application of modern technological advances, the group has diversified its products and services which have been appreciated by customers, especially its investment in the infrastructure of industrial zones, seaports and logistics, noted the Deputy PM.

He asked the group to make more efforts to overcome any difficulties and turn challenges into opportunities to create the difference to stand firmly on top in the domestic market and conquer the world.

Dong Tam Group has now over 3,500 officials and employees and consists of eight factories, 14 member companies, four associates, along with a system of showrooms, warehouses and distributors around the country. Its products have been exported to 29 countries around the world.
