Vietnam’s largest beauty trade event opens in Ho Chi Minh City

A chain of beauty exhibitions including “Mekong Beauty Show” and “Vietbeauty” held by Informa Markets kicked off at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City on August 22.

Vice President of Informa Markets in Asia M Gandhi, said that after twice organising Mekong Beauty Show and the third time organising Vietbeauty, the combination of the two shows have brought about many business opportunities and become the largest beauty trade event in Vietnam.

The event has created a bridge for enterprises in the beauty industry to access the market and seek partners, he noted.

This year’s event saw the participation of more than 300 enterprises from 21 countries and territories who are showcasing beauty products, new trends and advanced technology in the beauty industry.

Commercial Director of Medicare Vietnam, Bart Verheyen, said that the company attends the event with the aim of connecting with beauty firms and brands who are wishing to penetrate the Vietnamese market.

Meanwhile, General Director of Vietnamese company Gene World, Vu Duy Quang, said that the company will introduce customers and partners with cosmetics products using green technology in Vietnam.

The event will also include thematic seminars and activities to connect enterprises which are expected to facilitate enterprises in seeking business opportunities and enhancing their knowledge in the field.

The event will conclude on August 24.
