Japanese enterprises seek investment opportunities in Thua Thien - Hue

A visiting delegation from Japan’s Asahikawa prefecture had a working session with authorities of the central province of Thua Thien - Hue on August 29-30 to look at possibilities of bilateral collaboration across different fields.

Vice Chairman of the Thua Thien - Hue provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung spoke highly of effective projects invested by Japanese firms in Thue Thien - Hue over the past years, especially those related to trade, smart city building, commercial and social security services.

Mr. Kazuhiko Sato, a Japanese representative said that the delegation's visit to Thue Thien - Hue aimed to learn more about the province's policies on attracting investment in the fields of trade, tourism, and investment in infrastructure development.

In addition, the delegation also wished to participate in cultural exchanges and people-to-people exchanges between Asahikawa and Thue Thien - Hue in order to contribute to strengthening the time-honoured cooperation between localities and cities of the two countries.

They also expressed their wish that Thua Thien - Hue will create the best conditions possible for Japanese enterprises, including those from Asahikawa, to invest and form partnerships in the province.
