This information was announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade at press conference in Hanoi on September 10.
As part of the national industry promotion programme 2019, the series of events aims to introduce achievements and results of industrial promotion activities in supporting rural industrial development, create opportunities for trade promotion, and expand markets for typical rural industrial products.
At the same time, the event also helps rural businesses and industrial establishments to meet and exchange, as well as provide orientations and solutions to create a link between the development of rural industrial production and the needs of market, thereby enhancing the value of rural industrial products.
This year, 110 typical rural industrial products including handicraft products, agro-forestry and aquatic product processing products, equipment, machinery, tools, and machine parts products will be voted on and honoured.
On the occasion, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will hold a seminar on typical rural industrial product development, and a workshop promoting consumption of rural industrial products in the fourth industrial revolution.
According to the organising board, on the basis of recognising typical products, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to organise programmes to support these products development such as: prioritizing the support from the national and local industrial promotion funding; prioritizing trade promotion, trademark registration, communication support, exhibitions and fairs; and participating in the construction of electronic exchanges.
