Jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh City Farmers’ Association, the municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, the event aims to honour and promote typical agricultural products of the city.
The fair is also expected to provide a good chance for businesses and producers to exchange experiences and access new technologies in order to increase product competitiveness.
It also aspires to help businesses promote their products and exchange advanced techniques and technology in agricultural production.
On this occasion, the City People’s Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 24 outstanding collectives and individuals for their typical agricultural products.
The fair will run until September 16.
