Vietnam attends Anuga food fair in Cologne

About 30 Vietnamese enterprises showcased their agricultural products at the Anuga Cologne food fair held in Cologne, Germany, from October 5-9.

The participation of Vietnam in the trade fair was withinthe national trade promotion programme held by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This was an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce their products to food distributors and enterprises throughout the world as well as to promote the Vietnamese food industry.

With the leading enterprises in the fields of coconuts, cashew nuts, pepper, vegetables, and rice products, the Vietnamese business delegation continues to create good impressions at the fair with the diversity, creativity and quality of their products.

Vietnamese exhibitors have also made significant improvements to the appearance and design of their products to catch up with market trends and tastes of European customers.

In particular, Vietnamese enterprises have brought a number of organic products to the fair, such as cinnamon and coconut milk, in addition to introducing new products such as fermented chili sauce, cucumber-infused wine, and others.

Anuga is the world's leading food fair for the retail trade and the food service and catering market which often gathers more than 7,500 enterprises from across the world with more than 165,000 visitors each fair.
