In the same reviewed period, the corporation gained a total revenue of VND3.44 trillion and contributed more than VND2.58 trillion to the State budget, an increase of 12.13% and 13.9% year-on-year, respectively.

As the third quarter of this year was the high-peak season for tourist activities, it saw an increasing number of flights. At the same time, it also saw complications due to the weather conditions, which affected air traffic control.

However, the VATM has endeavored to improve air traffic service capacity and quality, increase supervision and inspection to strictly ensure the safety of aircrafts and their occupants operating in the country's airspace.

The corporation recently promulgated a new safety policy and is working on a set of safety indicators in order to tighten aviation safety. In a similar effort, irregular and regular evaluations and inspections have been conducted on its service providers.
