Vietnam-China tourism, trade fair to feature 400 pavilions

The Vietnam-China International Tourism and Trade Fair 2019 is scheduled to display more than 400 pavilions including more than 300 pavilions managed by Vietnamese enterprises and 100 pavilions run by Chinese enterprises.

The information was announced at a press conference on the annual fair jointly held by the People’s Committee of Mong Cai city and authorities of China’s Dongxing city, on October 10.

Entitled “Cooperation expansion – Sustainable development”, the fair is expected to put forth initiatives to boost the consumption of goods and create an opportunity for enterprises of both sides to expand business relations in the 4.0 era.

The fair will showcase products that both sides have strengths in including agricultural, forestry and aquatic products, machinery, equipment, electronic products, handicrafts, wood products, fruits and products under Quang Ninh’s OCOP (One Commune – One Product)programme.

The event is among the practical and effective cooperation programmes between Vietnam and China in order to promote tourism, trade and investment between the dynamic city of Mong Cai in Vietnam and Dongxingcity in China.

The fair will include various activities held in both Vietnam and China such as a conference on the consumption of agro-forestry and aquatic products through the Mong Cai – Dongxing border gate, seminars on tourism and investment promotion, exhibitions, art performances, street performances, among others.

This year’s tourism and trade fair will be held in MongCai city in the northern province of Quang Ninh from December 1-7.
