Thanh Hoa province introduces local products in Moscow

Vietnam’s north central province of Thanh Hoa has launched a space dedicated to showcasing its typical products at the Hanoi-Moscow Complex in the Russian capital in a bid to bring its local products to Russian consumers.

The space opened on October 23 in the presence of representatives of Thanh Hoa province, the Vietnamese Embassy, Tula Oblast - a twin province of Thanh Hoa, Russian and Vietnamese enterprises and the Vietnamese community in Russia.

On display are a variety of products, from handicrafts such as sedge mats to foods such as gac fruit-based products, canned food, seasonings, fish sauce and traditional confectionery.

More products are expected to be introduced to Russian consumers in the future.

At the opening ceremony, representatives of Russian enterprises showed their interest in the products introduced by Thanh Hoa province and expressed their belief that such products have great prospects in conquering the Russian market.

Vo Duy Sang, a Thanh Hoa official, expressed his hope that the exhibition space will be a bridge connecting Russian consumers and business partners with Thanh Hoa enterprises.

Russian enterprises are interested in local products of Thanh Hoa province.
