The opening ceremony saw the presence of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
Taking place until October 31, the fair showcases staples of 20 cities and provinces, include agricultural and forestry products, seafood, handicraft productions, fruits, and beverages.
The event is co-hosted by the Agriculture and Trade Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee as part of activities to foster trade promotion of the agricultural sector in 2019.
It aims to provide a venue for participating businesses and localities to share their experience, seek trading opportunities, step up technology transfer, and improve their products’ quality in order to meet the increasing demand of customers.
