Newly-established enterprises increase nearly 7% in eleven months

Vietnam has seen nearly 126,700 newly-established enterprises in the eleven months of this year with a total registered capital of VND1,500 trillion (over US$64 billion), an annual increase of 4.5% in terms of the number of enterprises and 27.5% in terms of registered capital.

According to the General Statistics Office, during the January-November period, about 36,500 enterprises have registered to expand their investment capital with a total supplemented capital of VND2,100 trillion.

Furthermore, 36,900 enterprises have resumed operations in November, an annual increase of 15.7%.

However, 27,800 enterprises registered for the temporary suspension of business activities, up 7.1% over the same period last year, while 38,100 others ceased operations or are waiting to be dissolved, up 39.8% over the same period last year.
