The five enterprises are Seaprodex Minh Hai, Seafood Processing Company 1, Huy Nam Seafood Company, Kien Cuong Seafood Processing Import Export JSC, and Ngoc Tung Seafood Company.

The FSVPS sent a letter to the Director of the Vietnam Department of Animal Health on December 3 announcing its permission for the five Vietnamese seafood enterprises to be eligible to export their products to Russia.

The decision was made after the working between the Vietnam Department of Animal Health and the FSVPS, under which the Vietnamese side persuaded Russia to allow the import of Vietnamese livestock and poultry products and eggs, dairy and dairy products, honey, and seafood products.

The working session took place within the framework of the 4th Regional Workshop on Swine Disease Control in Asia and the 3rd Meeting of the Standing Group of Exports on African Swine Fever for Asia held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 26-28.

The Vietnam Department of Animal Health will continue to negotiate with the Russian side to export Vietnamese poultry meat, dairy and dairy products to Russia.
