The three-day event features 200 pavilions showcasing nearly 2,000 types of products from 30 cities and provinces nationwide.

In addition to farm produce and specialty food, there are 30 booths introducing handicraft and fine arts products at the fair, alongside a section for the advertising of well-known ornamental creature products.

Visitors to the fair also have the chance to enjoy many typical and traditional dishes of localities nationwide, including cinnamon pork roast, Dong Tao chicken sausage roll, Bank Khoai (Vietnamese pancake), durian sticky rice, Saigon noodles and Trang Bang rice paper cake.

Chief of the Hanoi rural development department, Nguyen Van Chi, said the fair offers an opportunity for the city’s cooperatives to advertise and expand the distribution and consumption market for their safe agro-products.

Particularly, cooperatives will have the chance to learn and exchange experience on applying new technology in agricultural production aiming to improve the quality of their farm produce and connect with businesses from the production stage to the consumption stage, he stated.
