Machinery and supporting industry fairs opens

The Vietnam International Machinery Fair 2019(VIMAF) and the Vietnam Supporting Industry Fair 2019(VSIF) kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on December 11, featuring 460 booths by nearly 300 Vietnamese and foreign firms from around the world.

The event is one of activities on support industry development in 2019 held by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Republic of Korea’s Association of Machinery Industry (KOAMI), COEX Vietnam Company and the Ho Chi Minh City Asociation of Mechanical - Electrical Enterprise (HAMEE).

Exhibitors mainly focused on displaying supporting industryproducts and new industrial technologies, and introducing new manufacturing trends in the industry.

According to Pham Thanh Kien, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, said that at the fairs, supporting industry products in Vietnam accounted for 30%; metal products and solutions in metal processing (30%); solutions in automation and motion control systems, materials, accessories in industry, construction machinery (25%); field of factory equipment and electrical equipment (15%).

In addition, the fairs have the participation of some well-knownbrands such as Doosan Infracore, TOPEYE Corporation, Neuromeka, Shinseng industrial Co., Ltd, HBL Inc., and Chowelcorporation.

In the framework of the VIMAF and VSIF 2019 from now until the end of December 14, some activities to attract the attention of businesses and visitors such as exchanging trade and visiting industrial factories.

VIMAF and VSIF expos are organised annually, aims to provideopportunities for businesses in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the country in general, promoting investment and business cooperation.

In particular, the exhibition also aims to promote the development of the city's industry, enhance the competitiveness of businesses, and make a positive contribution to the socio-economic growth of Ho Chi Minh City.
