Bac Kan agricultural products promoted in Hanoi

The People's Committee of northern mountainous province of Bac Kan launched a programme on July 11 to introduce clean agricultural products of Bac Kan Province to Hanoi.

The programme has a scale of 11 agricultural stalls, including two booths at VinMart Times City supermarket (Hai Ba Trung District), and nine booths at VinMart Trung Hoa (Cau Giay District).

The programme has a scale of 11 agricultural stalls, including two booths at VinMart Times City supermarket (Hai Ba Trung District), and nine booths at VinMart Trung Hoa (Cau Giay District) to introduce clean agricultural products of Bac Kan Province such as: vermicelli, dried bamboo shoots, sausages, pork, hill chicken, fish, turmeric products, ginger, etc.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee Do Thi Minh Hoa emphasised, the event was expected to open new opportunities for cooperatives and businesses of Bac Kan Province to expand the market and form a chain of links between manufacturing and distribution businesses.

This was also a trade promotion activity after the period of social distancing due to the effect of COVID-19 epidemic, she added.

Currently, Bac Kan Province is focusing on promoting agricultural development in the direction of producing goods, creating branded products, ensuring VietGAP standards, diversified models, and raising competitiveness in the market.
